Don’t miss any satellite group meeting!

Since October 2006 IAB Hamburg brings together various specialists including physiotherapists, occupational therapists, speech therapists, nurses and physicians meeting as a semi-open group, actually as online meeting as well. The programs follow a specific curriculum and sometimes patients and relatives are welcome to join us as well.

In March 2011 IAB Hannover was established in Hannover chaired by Professor Dirk Dressler, MD, PhD, Head of Movement Disorders Section, Department of Neurology, Hannover Medical School. The activities of IAB Hannover are published on the IAB webpage.

In 2011 another IAB initiative was launched under the name of Parkinson Nurse Group Hannover (IAB FPA): Here we offered staff of specialised Parkinson treatment centres  a specific curriculum covering information about the disease, treatment options including advanced therapies and job-specific discussions.

Since May 2012 we are pleased to serve as organiser of the popular Video Club Movement Disorders founded 2009 by Professor Dirk Dressler from Hannover Medical School. It features video animated presentations of nationally and internationally acknowledged movement disorders specialists. Video samples of interesting cases provided by the audience offer the opportunity to discuss own experience.

After 16 successful sessions from 2012 chaired by M. Ebke, MD, PhD, head of Neurology at Dr. Becker Rhein-Sieg-Klinik, Nuembrecht we must pause because of his move due to a change of his position. New activities will be published on the IAB webpage.

In June 2013 we started our IAB Child North, a group to bring IAB ideas to pediatric medicine and to particularly improve treatment during the transition phase from chilhood to adolescence.

Started 2014, IAB Berlin also wants to support interdisciplinary therapies for movement disorders, facilitate internal communication between therapist and external communication with patients, colleagues and institutions.
